Breakfast of Champions
Talking to other people who support your ideas and who have the power to help make your ideas come to life can be very beneficial. Sometimes it can be very hard to get your thoughts and ideas out there in the open, and discussing it over a meal can break the ice.
Every fourth Thursday of each month, various businesses gather at the Sierra View Country Club for a lively networking breakfast hosted by the Roseville Chamber of Commerce. This monthly ritual creates a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs, business professionals and business owners with like-minded ambitions to gather together and gradually build and start the spur of business growth and progression.
This particular event was sponsored by AccedeO Inc., February’s event kindly and warmly welcomed 75 attendees. After a very hearty breakfast and raffle, the open networking continued for a couple hours. Scott Otsuka, the President of Infinity Financial Mortgage, served as what is called the Master of Ceremonies, facilitating the members who had the opportunity to give a 30 second business commercial to a packed room of business attendees.
Then, Alex Rue of the Alex Rue Insurance Agency took his advantage of this benefit and entertained members when he sang his 30 second commercial with his beloved acoustic guitar. Katie Delyon, the events and sponsorship coordinator who always assists with putting the monthly event together, said “with this group it makes getting out of bed at 5 am a little easier. They are always a good laugh.” the Roseville Chamber hosts more than 90 events throughout the year, including educational seminars, young professional events, community outreach, and special annual events in addition to networking opportunities.
After every one of these joyful meetings, new ideas are made and executed, and everyone in the business world can get back to their everyday jobs with a smile on their face and a of course a full belly.
