Maternity Photos for Chaitali

One of the things that makes me look forward to my job as a photographer s the ability to capture the most amazing moments in a person’s life. In this case, I was overjoyed to be a part of this couple’s lives for this particular moment. There is something so beautiful about maternity shots. Maybe it is the fact that I get to capture the stunning beauty of the beginning of this next exciting chapter of this family’s lives. Here I was asked to do a maternity photo shoot for Chaitali, who is excitedly awaiting the birth of her child.

This image captures the love between this expectant couple perfectly. They are both glowing, basking in the excitement of growing their family. Chaitali is wearing traditional attire, showing that culture and traditions are important to this family. This is something that they will certainly share with their new bundle of joy. By having the dad sitting on the chair alongside the baby bump, the baby bump becomes the central focus of the photograph. Chaitali’s arm is draped lovingly around him while he leans in next to his unborn child. The colors of his shirt perfectly accent her outfit, which helps to make an even more attractive picture.

We took this photo in a location that was neutral, simple, but still very elegant in its own right. The neutral colors of the background help make the stunning pastel colors in their attire pop out even more. These two look very comfortable with each other and are seemingly relaxed despite the big moment that is about to happen in their lives. The plant in the background was an excellent touch of flair to the background.

Photos like this can be done in a studio but sometimes it adds to the photograph by being out while getting the photos taken. This gives you the opportunity to have a variety of different backdrops and poses for your images. Variety helps people not be bored while getting their pictures taken and give you more options to choose from when you are deciding on the best pictures to keep. Studios can be very limiting as far as what you can do for pictures but being on site for images can unlock the imagination.

This is a loving couple, who I only wish the best for in the future. They have so much to look forward to and I am happy that I was able to be a part of this journey with them. Maternity photo shoots give people the opportunity to remember the early moments of this incredible time in their life. They can look back on this photograph and remember this magical moment. As this couple starts the next chapter of this amazing journey, I wish them all of the best in the world. This is a truly magical time in their lives and I am happy they choose to let me capture these images for them. Here’s to the future and best wishes.
