Birthday Celebration-Kathy’s 60th
Birthday milestones are so fun to capture. Birthday parties are a celebration of life and all of the important people that matter to a person. So when I was asked to be a part of Kathy’s 60th birthday celebration at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Roseville, I was honored to be a part of this event. These are the best images from this exciting night.
This image is a great photo of Kathy with her beautiful family. Everyone is excited to be there with their loved ones to enjoy the celebration. The venue was one with a lot of beauty and rustic charm, offering such a great place for the family to get together and celebrate Kathy turning 60.

These flowers were so amazing and unique that they deserved to star in their own images. The time that it must have taken to create these stunning centerpieces is astonishing to me. They are simple, but elegantly beautiful. It is little details like this that are easy to overlook, but thanks to photographs you can look back and see these incredible little touches.Here, Kathy is posing with more loved ones who were excited to spend the evening celebrating her birthday. The lighting in the space offered awesome ambience that was perfect for capturing intimate moments like this.
This is a candid shot of guests hanging around after their meals have been served. Candid shots like this one help to better capture the essence of any event. People are engrossed in conversations, unaware that their picture is being taken at that moment. Candid shots are essential to your memories of any celebratory event.
The top image is an excellent shot of all of the guests who were excited to spend time with Kathy. At any birthday celebration, it is the coming together of your loved ones that makes a huge difference in how you feel on your special day. It is not about the presents that you receive, but the presence of your loved ones. This was a beautiful and fun group of people that were awesome to photograph on this evening. Kathy’s face in this picture made it clear that she had an amazing time on her special day.
Capturing events like this make photography such a blessing to me. The love and happiness that was shared by everyone who attended this birthday gathering was a joy to experience. The venue was a perfect backdrop to what seemed to be a perfect evening for Kathy and her loved ones. I hope that she had an amazing and memorable birthday. I was honored to be invited to photograph this event, and many others like it.
