Cake Smash
The cake smash is a tradition for when babies hit that 1 year old milestone. This is an adorably messy photograph that’s so fun to be a part of. Sometimes it’s just fun to watch a cute baby make a big mess. This photo session was no exception to this. Here are some of my favorite photographs from this cake smashing session.

This is the perfect shot to start off the series. The backdrop is absolutely stunning here and that’s a very gorgeous cake that’s about to get smashed up. This image is definitely very rustic chic in all the right ways.

That precious smile! This gorgeous little baby was such a joy to work with, so full of curiosity and happiness. The outfit for this adventure was perfection right down to the accessories. The background of the cake and backdrop really add charm to this already stunning photograph.

This little baby is having a blast playing with the necklaces. It’s almost like we weren’t even there. The giggles during this specific photo were infectious.

This is a great way to close out this series of photos. The birthday baby has gotten tired from their adventure and you can see those adorable baby toes peeking through.
I love cake smash photo shoots. Babies have such fun doing them, even if they are messy. Getting messy is half the fun, right? It’s always amazing to be a part of these big milestones, especially the more fun adventures. I hope she had fun smashing the birthday cake in honor of her first birthday!
