Engagement Shonna and Eddie
There is nothing quite like the glow of a newly engaged couple. The agreement to commit to each other for the rest of your lives is so beautiful. For this series of pictures, I was asked by Shonna and Eddie to be a part of their celebration for their engagement. They gave me the opportunity to take such loving pictures of this happy couple as the begin the next part of their journey together. I hope that you can feel the love that this couple has for each other when you see these romantic images.
To start with, I wanted to share one of my favorite images from this set. One of the benefits of taking pictures in nature is the stunning backdrop that only the great outdoors can offer. The focus may be on the couple in this shot, but you are able to see a perfectly blurred but stunning background that creates such beauty to frame this loving image. The way that this photo captures the sunlight adds drama and breathtaking beauty, lighting the ground around them but offering a natural effect that you cannot just create.
Holding hands and walking a path together makes a great image but it also offers incredible symbolism for their future. They will enter this path as one and walk with each other as they navigate through all of the twists, turns, and uncertainty that they will face together. With the love that this couple obviously has for each other, they will do amazingly on this next journey in their lives.
Posed shots like this one can be great to share with friends and family on “Save the Date” cards and other things that they may want to send out. There is such happiness that is radiating from this young couple, which made capturing these images even more enjoyable for me.
