Professional Photos
I took a booking for a business photo shoot, it was to help a couple promote their Realty firm. meeting realtors Jim and Summer, I was given a warm welcome and we spent some time getting to know each other. Jim and Summer wanted some professional shots that really showed what they were all about. I was more than happy to help make their dreams of running a successful Realty business a success!
Summer and Jim were very insistent upon the white background, so we kept them inside working against the studio wall. Even so, to ensure the background was completely blank, I then trimmed around the couple in the edit so that they could place their image over anything that they liked. This works well for business photo shoots where professional people like to add a logo to a picture, or allow clients to easily recognize them.
We had to take couple shots and individual shots for obvious reasons. This means that either one, or the other, partner can attach their image to any paperwork either individually or as their joined authority. The blue Jim chose is very striking here, caught in a nice natural light.
Both Jim and Summer wanted to convey a feeling of close family values, while still maintaining their professional mystique. Poses like this, where they are angled into the camera and yet towards one another, allow me to do this without putting too much emphasis on a background or color choice.
I love the back-to-back image here because it shows a much more relaxed, friendly side to the couple. They seem much more approachable because their posture is more open… That and the fact that Jim looks more relaxed out of his suit jacket.
After a quick costume change it was time for Summer to have her close up! This body angle gave her a welcoming, friendly vibe which I think the lace offsets nicely. It adds class, elegance, and a feeling of responsibility the photograph might otherwise have missed.
Jim took himself back into blue as it matches the color of his eyes! Blue is a great choice for any photo shoot as it is warm and friendly – and doesn’t clash with any green screens your photographer might use…
For our final shot we got a little wind into the air to make Summer’s hair flow and give her that ‘supermodel’ moment that all girls deserve, once in a while. The commitment and care between the two is absolutely obvious here, and we thought it was a splendid note to end the photo shoot on. These two go-getters are now armed with all of the photographs they need to bolster their advertising campaign and get their faces seen by the public – a sure fire way to achieve Realty success.
