Buzz Oates Legacy
California is partially famous for, well, a lot of famous people. Most of the famous people come from Hollywood and the like, but there are a sizable number of famous people that are also from other parts of California who my eyes have done more than enough for communities.
One such person was Buzz Oates, Buzz was a real estate developer in and around Sacramento, and he worked tirelessly to make it a better place and was very successful.As part of his hard work and dedication to Rocklin, California, and the surrounding areas, the community rallied together for the Fourth of July to honor the country’s patriotism and one of its own. The Buzz Oates Celebrate America 2014 was the largest patriotic event in Rocklin, Ca. There were activities for kids, families and of course, the phenomenal fireworks display.
Buzz Oates’ deep love for Sacramento is shown in the event, and I was pleased to be there to capture photographs of the fun, celebration and joy of patriotism that everyone shared.
There was approximately 30,000 people in attendance, and one of my favorite parts was meeting Coffey Anderson, a rising country star was on hand to perform, and his beautiful family. Coffey Anderson took the stage several times for the assembled people, and he was an absolutely amazing performer and person.
I was able to get some fabulous pictures of the entire event and Coffey Anderson’s performance.
It was a great day to be an American, Placer County resident and like Buzz Oates, a small business owner.
